This prize Tie Guan Yin ('Irong Goddess of Mercy') oolong tea comes from a Spring harvest collected at 1000 meters just outside of Daping Village in Anxi, Fujian.  The leaves are of extremely high quality and after 30 years of maturation have developed a distinctly strong and spicy flavor profile.  

Offering notes of camphor and forest berries, this tea - when brewed properly - will stir up heavy chi in the body.  It has not been roasted many times over as aged oolongs tend to be and therefor offers unique insight into the unadulterated character of very old tie guan yin.
